About
Dr Leong Shu Yee graduated from National University of Singapore in 2004. She was awarded the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (NUS) in 2009 and is an accredited family physician with the Family Physician Accreditation Board, Singapore.
Dr Leong has special interests in Health Screening and Preventive Medicine, specifically early detection and management of chronic illnesses. She started her career as a Resident Doctor practising family medicine in SingHealth polyclinics before being involved in preventive health care for individual and corporate patients in 2011.
Dr Leong's patient-centric approach and ability to connect with individuals are central to her commitment to health screening and preventive care. She firmly believes that personalized care is crucial, emphasizing the importance of early identification of potential health issues before they escalate into more significant problems.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr Leong enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
About
Dr Michelle Koo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2012.
After graduation, she worked in local restructured hospitals and rotated through various departments including Internal Medicine and General Surgery in Singapore General Hospital, Paediatric Medicine in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the Emergency Department of Changi General Hospital.
Before entering General Practice, she was a Senior Resident in the SingHealth Anaesthesia Residency Programme, where she spent 6 years training in the specialty fields of Surgical Anaesthesia, Peri-operative Medicine, Intensive Care as well as Acute and Chronic Pain Management, during which she obtained her Masters of Medicine in Anaesthesia in 2017.
She is currently a General Practitioner with special interests in Health Screening and Preventive Medicine. She is a strong advocate of patient education and believes that patient empowerment goes a long way in the promotion of long-term health and wellness.
Outside of work, Dr Koo is a dedicated mother to her children and she enjoys reading and travelling with her family.
Dr Koo is fluent in English and Mandarin.
