About
Dr Marcus Tan has some 25 years of clinical experience. He has been a practicing psychiatrist since 2008. He is experienced in all areas of general psychiatry and military psychiatry. He has a special interest in stress, mood, and anxiety disorders. Before joining Garden Grove Clinic, he was the co-founder of Nobel Psychological Wellness Clinic and practised there for 15 years. He has particular clinical interests in both uni- and bipolar mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related conditions, and behavioural challenges in autism spectrum disorder. He also manages insomnia and has a special interest in culture bound phenomenon.
Known for his empathetic care and compassionate approach, he is committed to creating a supportive environment where patents feel empowered to achieve their goals. He is a strong advocate of exercise, lifestyle practices, and psychotherapy.
