About

Dr Pang completed medical training from the National University of Malaysia in 2009. He completed Master of Medicine of Internal Medicine from National University Singapore (NUS) and became member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 2014. In 2016, he began neurology training at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) and completed his specialist training in 2019. During his neurology training, he earned the Outstanding Resident Award in Neurology in 2018, reflecting his dedication to excellence in patient care and education.

As a Consultant Neurologist in NNI previously, Dr Pang provided expert care at Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital, and Sengkang General Hospital. He has a special interest in stroke, headache management, and neurophysiology besides general neurology. He was also actively involved in the hyperacute stroke service, assessing patients for stroke reperfusion therapy. For his exceptional contributions, Dr Pang received the Outstanding Faculty Award in 2019, CGHCare Award in 2021, NNI Quality Service Awards in 2022 (Silver) and 2023 (Gold), and Gold Award-Team Brain Warior by Singapore Productivity Association in 2024.

Beyond clinical practice, he mentor junior doctors and medical students, fostering the next generation of medical professionals. His academic contributions include publishing several neurology articles and serving as a principal investigator in research studies.
