About
Dr Zhuang is a family physician and palliative care specialist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical informatics. Before joining OncoCare Cancer Centre as a Senior Specialist in Palliative Medicine, Dr Zhuang was employed as a Consultant in the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care in the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). Dr Zhuang’s significant portfolios included being the: 1) Chair of the Singapore Hospice Council Palliative National Minimum Dataset; 2) Chair of SingHealth Duke-NUS Supportive and Palliative Care Registry; 3) Deputy Chair of NCCS EPIC Steering Committee.
Holding 500k in grants doing research using routinely available health data, Dr Zhuang’s area of research focuses on leveraging real-world data to uncover patterns in disease progression, treatment outcomes, and healthcare utilization. Passionate about the future of cancer care, Dr Zhuang believes in continuously innovating to create care that is both high-touch and high-tech. Dr Zhuang’s goal is to provide personalized, proactive palliative care that is compassionate and tailored to each patient’s needs.
