About

Dr Shaun Loh is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgeon with a subspecialty focus on snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). He offers a full spectrum of OSA treatment options, including soft tissue and robotic surgeries as well as hypoglossal nerve neurostimulator implant surgery.

Dr Loh underwent extensive training in Singapore’s public healthcare sector, completing his specialist ENT training before serving as Consultant and Chief of Sleep Surgery at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and as a Consultant at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Sleep Centre. He also contributed to medical education as a Clinical Assistant Professor at both Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Dr Loh was part of the pioneering team for hypoglossal nerve neurostimulation in Singapore and is currently the Inspire Medical Systems-appointed consulting surgeon, involved in training ENT specialists locally and regionally. His clinical approach emphasises patient-centred care, offering tailored solutions for patients who cannot tolerate CPAP.

He continues to serve as a Visiting Consultant at Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital, and Woodlands Hospital, mentoring surgeons and contributing to ongoing improvements in sleep surgery. During his tenure at SGH, Dr Loh received multiple Heart of Gold and Service Excellence Awards in recognition of his dedication to patient care.
