About
Dr Anindita Santosa is a dual-trained Consultant in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology/Allergy, and the Medical Director of Aaria Rheumatology. She is deeply committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care that integrates scientific precision with compassion and long-term partnership.
After earning her medical degree from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2008, Dr Santosa completed her postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and was conferred Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2013. She obtained specialist accreditation in Rheumatology in 2017 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Deepening her understanding of immune-mediated diseases, she pursued advanced clinical training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology across three tertiary centres in Singapore and completed a Master of Science in Allergy from Imperial College London in 2023.
Dr Santosa’s clinical expertise spans a wide spectrum of rheumatic and immunologic diseases. She has special interests in connective tissue disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, and pulmonary hypertension associated with autoimmune disease. Her immunology practice includes management of complex allergic diseases, drug desensitization, and primary immunodeficiencies. She also offers advanced diagnostics including nailfold capillaroscopy and performs procedures such as joint aspiration and soft tissue injections.
With a distinguished career in both public and private sectors, Dr Santosa previously led the Division of Rheumatology at Changi General Hospital, where she spearheaded several multidisciplinary services and digital health innovations, including the award-winning SingHealth RheumConnect chatbot. She is the Co-Founder of AIGP Health and Clinversa, ventures focused on AI integration and digital transformation in healthcare.
Dr Santosa is also a passionate educator and researcher, having served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and published in high-impact journals on autoimmune disease, digital health, and vaccine safety. She actively contributes to the medical community as Deputy Chairman of the National Arthritis Foundation and Council Member of the Lupus Association Singapore.
Her clinical philosophy is rooted in empowering patients with knowledge, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and embracing innovation to enhance care delivery. Fluent in English, German and Bahasa Indonesia, she is known for her warm, assertive yet approachable manner, earning trust across a diverse patient base.
