In 2016, he was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces HDMP award and underwent fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and Musculoskeletal Interventional Radiology at Vancouver General Hospital and the British Columbia Cancer Agency (BCCA), under the tutelage of Prof Peter Munk and Prof Bruce Forster. He had been serving as a Consultant Radiologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) prior to private practice and is currently a Visiting Consultant at TTSH.

He is also trained in oncologic interventions given his fellowship training with BCCA, performing procedures such as imaging guided biopsies, tumour ablations for benign lesions (osteoid osteomas) to palliative tumour ablations and cementoplasty.
