About
Dr Jarrod Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and attained specialist accreditation in Gastroenterology in 2009. In 2010, he was invited to be Clinical Lead and Chairman of Endoscopy for the newly opened Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he established the Division of Gastroenterology and the Endoscopy Centre for the new hospital before leaving for private practice in 2013. In 2014, he founded gutCARE, the first group practice in Gastroenterology in Singapore, which focuses on delivering sub-specialist expertise in digestive diseases.
Dr Jarrod Lee is well established regionally in endoscopy. He is the only doctor from Southeast Asia to win a Crystal Award, an international award for endoscopic excellence. In 2011, he beat over 100 top endoscopists to win the coveted ASGE AV Award, an international award that defines the reference standard for the world. He has a special interest in incorporating the latest advanced imaging and new techniques into endoscopy and everyday practice, and in digestive cancer screening and prevention.
