About

Dr Teo is currently a Consultant Urologist in private practice at Urology Practice. He received his MBBS from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM) in 2006 and received his residency training at the SingHealth Urology Residency Programme from 2011-2016. He obtained his MRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2011 and also received his FRCS-Urology in 2017 from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (Glasgow).

Prior to being in private practice, he was a Consultant and Director of Andrology at the Department of Urology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He continues to be a Visiting Consultant to the Department of Reproductive Medicine, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. During his time in SGH, he was actively involved in the education of medical students and was a Clinical Assistant Professor for Duke-NUS Medical School, Clinical Lecturer for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and clinical teacher for the NTU-Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was also a faculty member for the Singhealth Urology Residency Program.
Apart from his clinical duties, he was also an elected EXCO member of the Society of Men’s Health Singapore since 2018 to 2023, a member of the SGH Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, the SGH Medical Devices Committee and the Ministry of Health Medical Technology Device Committee (Urogenital Workgroup) from 2021 until he left SGH.

He completed his Andrology fellowship in Seoul, South Korea in 2022 under the supervision of Dr Kim Dori (Stantop Clinic) and Dr Sean Park (Sewum Clinic).
