About
Dr Pek received her undergraduate medical training at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Doubly certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery, she is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2019, she was awarded the Gold Medal from the College of Surgeons, Singapore as the best performing advanced surgical trainee in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr Pek was also the recipient of the ICOPLAST Award of Excellence in 2019. She currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons (SAPS), as well as the Chapter of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Singapore.
Dr Pek’s practise encompasses both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a subspecialty interest in breast reconstruction and breast plastic surgery. Coming from an established breast reconstruction practise in Singapore General Hospital, she pursues the restoration of form and function of the breast with finesse, placing her focus on an enhanced recovery from breast surgery and an optimal quality of life in the years to come.
