About

Dr Sriram Narayanan is a senior consultant vascular surgeon and the President of the Asian Venous Forum. He specialises in superficial and deep venous surgery and is a global KOL in the management of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome and vein disease. As a vascular surgeon, he also performs vascular malformation surgery, thoracic and abdominal aortic endovascular repairs, peripheral vascular revascularisation, and carotid surgery. He was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Australasian College of Phlebology for his contribution to the management of pelvic congestion syndrome and the Ted King Oration by the Venous Association of India for lifetime contribution to the treatment and training of venous disease.

Having initially qualified in India, he was trained in surgery, transplantation and then vascular surgery in the UK at Nottingham, Cardiff, and London. His training in deep venous surgery was as a Senior Registrar and Vascular surgical fellow at the Imperial College NHS trust hospitals in London, based at the Charing Cross and St Mary’s Hospitals. He moved to Singapore in 2011 as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he served as the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Adjunct Assistant Professor to the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He was a Core Faculty Member of the National Healthcare Group Surgical Residency programme.
