About
Dr Sulaiman Bin Yusof is a colorectal and general surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has performed more than 10,000 endoscopic procedures and over 100 robotic colorectal operations using the Da Vinci Xi system.
He treats colorectal cancer and a broad range of colorectal and perianal conditions, with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He is known for explaining diagnoses clearly and involving patients in treatment decisions.
Dr Sulaiman trained at the University of Sheffield and completed his surgical specialisation in Singapore. He later received a Ministry of Health fellowship to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, where he trained further in complex colorectal and pelvic cancer surgery.
He previously served as Director of Endoscopy at Changi General Hospital and continues there as a Visiting Consultant. He also lectures medical students at NUS, Duke-NUS Medical School and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In 2023, he received the Singapore Health Quality Service Star Award.
