About

Dr. William Kristanto graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore in 2010 and completed both his Internal Medicine and Cardiology Senior Residency programs at the National University Hospital (NUH). He was subsequently a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with the National University Hospital System (NUHS). He was awarded the MOH HMDP award in 2020 and pursued Interventional Cardiology fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Sidney Lo and Dr. Phong Ngyuyen at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals, NSW, Australia. His areas of interests include coronary physiology and intravascular assessment using IVUS and OCT, as well as performing complex coronary angioplasty procedures such as atherectomy and lithotripsy. He also led the NUHS Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

At Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Dr. Kristanto is appointed as the deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer, responsible for medical informatics work such as the next generation electrical medical records (NGEMR) implementation. He also serves as the cluster chairman of the NUHS Results acknowledgement process committee. He has presented in numerous local and overseas meetings and his research and publications are in the areas of obstructive sleep apnea, coronary intervention and acute pulmonary embolism. He is also a clinical lecturer to medical students, clinical Fellows and contemporary colleagues.
