Background

Dr Candice Wang graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2006 and obtained her Masters of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from NUS in 2012. She is currently a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (United Kingdom) and has been made a Fellow of Academy of Medicine Singapore. She is also a member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS).

Dr Wang has been trained for many years in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. She is experienced in ultrasound scan, prenatal screening, antenatal screening, instrumental vaginal delivery, caesarean section, management of patients with menstrual, fertility and menopause concerns, as well as gynaecological surgeries. She was awarded the Best Advanced Specialist Trainee award in 2014.

Dr Wang was active in teaching and sharing her skills with her juniors. She was appointed as Clinical Lecturer in NUS and was part of the Physician Faculty for Transitional Year Residency Program, in addition to organising post graduate examination courses. Dr Wang was also involved in research, having published papers in local and international journals and presenting oral and poster presentations in international conferences.
