Baby Blessings

It is a Mount Alvernia Hospital tradition to hold a short prayer service for parents and their little ones just before they leave for home. This is to bless and give thanks for the newborn and is open to all regardless of race and beliefs. Parents who would like to have their babies presented in the Chapel may contact ward staff for assistance to arrange for a suitable time for the blessing.
